摘要: Publisher Summary This chapter deals with the examination of angular and polarization correlations between outgoing particles following inelastic electron-atom scattering processes. Postcollision interaction (PCI) to long-range Coulomb is attributed interactions allowing exchange energy momentum electrons, they account for it within framework first Born Glauber approximations using a semi-classical treatment. The inclusion PCI in calculations results binary recoil peaks being shifted larger angles as observed experiment, improves relative peak intensities. Electrons from direct ionization process leaving ion same final state auto-ionization also contribute signal, strong interference two processes prevents information on alignment readily obtained. scattered-Auger electron coincidence method powerful technique study effects Auger decay process.
