摘要: A geographical stratification of Killer Immunoglobulin-like Receptors (KIR) has been reported worldwide. We first analyzed the distribution 15 KIR genes in a sample 50 East-Sicilians (ES). used Principal Component Analysis (PCA) to compare genetic content among ES and 10 modern populations who are descendants ancient invaders Sicily: Spanish, French, Norwegians, Swedes, Finns, Tunisians, Moroccans, Arabs, Greeks, Turks. also included Sardinians, Senegalese (as outlier group). Then, we compared HLA-A, HLA-B HLA-C allelic frequencies same investigated for KIR. As HLA-A polymorphisms, close Greek population invaded island long time until 827 CE; while Spanish that Sicily (and Sardinia) starting from 1283. KIR, Sardinians. The immunogenetic fingerprint may be finely balanced result invasions overwhelmed over centuries.
