摘要: Abstract The usual strength of materials approach to the calculation deflexions stepped beams can incur errors if applied with large and abrupt changes section. After initial comparison experimental results, finite element displacement method was used in an investigation into properties such beams, particular attention being paid relationships between geometry centre line deflexion curves. Data are presented so that for a beam any loading condition, curve be calculated by using simple bending conjunction equivalent variable second moment area.
