摘要: Conventional traffic simulator systems do not support Connected Vehicles (CV). The focus of this study is to extend the functionality a and developing APIs for Vehicle-to-Vehicle (V2V) Vehicle-to-Infrastructure (V2I) communication. We use extended simulation system examine implementation advisory speed recommendation re-routing guidance urban freeways under various load conditions recommend optimum treatments reduce rear-end lane-change crash risks where differences between upstream downstream vehicles were high. these strategies as tool safety improvement on section Deerfoot trail, Calgary, Alberta. Results experiments demonstrate overall effectiveness approach.
