摘要: Abstract A mononuclear Sm(III) complex involving Pic and EO4 (where Pic=picrate anion EO4=tetraethylene glycol) has been studied. It shows a bright-orange emission when used as active material in monolayer electroluminescent device of ITO/EO4–Sm–Pic/Al. The crystal structure the consists [Sm(Pic)2(H2O)(EO4)]+ cation [Pic]− anion. ion is coordinated with nine oxygen atoms from one ligand pentadentate mode, two anions each bidentate monodentate modes, water molecule. Both terminal alcohol groups acyclic were involved O–H…O hydrogen bonding by infinite one-dimensional (1D) chain within symmetry direction [0 1 0]. photoluminescence (PL) spectrum thin film typical spectral features (4G5/2→6H7/2 transitions). root-mean-square (rms) roughness 30.605 nm indicates that formation not uniform retains high crystallinity. Typical semiconductor current–voltage (I–V) property was also observed this threshold turn voltages 2.8 6.2 V, respectively. [Sm(Pic)2(H2O)(EO4)](Pic)·H2O can be applied luminescent center OLED for emission.
