摘要: Peripheral blood monocytes (PBM) recruitment is a rapid and remarkable phenomenon during acute infection with the intracellular protozoan parasite Trypanosoma cruzi, causative agent of Chagas' disease. The functional capabilities these cells infection, however, are poorly understood. purpose present study was to determine whether PBM morphologically activated produce nitric oxide (NO), mediator host cell defense when challenged at different time points In parallel, load monitored in heart, target organ disease, as well numbers. did not induce NO release by PBM, although exhibited clear morphological pattern activation characterized irregular surface, increase organelle amount, especially Golgi complex, size. On contrary, there significant inhibition production beginning (day 6) end disease 20). At this time, levels were inversely related arginase activity, an enzyme that affects synthesis. mobilization process occurred parallel associated resolution mechanism parasitemia heart parasitism. Our results showed notably involved response T. cruzi rats. However, vivo seems be inhibited through involving pathway.
