摘要: Olive is one of the oldest cultivated species in Mediterranean Basin, including Tunisia, where it has a wide diversity, with more than 200 cultivars, both wild and feral forms. Many minor cultivars are still present marginal areas they maintained by farmers small local groves, but poorly characterized evaluated. In order to recover this neglected germplasm, surveys were conducted different areas, 31 genotypes collected, molecularly 12 nuclear microsatellite (simple sequence repeat (SSR)) markers, compared 26 reference Tunisian National collection. The analysis revealed an overall high genetic diversity olive’s also discovered presence synonymies homonymies among commercialized varieties. structure showed gene pools analyzed germplasm. particular, germplasm from Ras Jbal Azmour not commercial (Nurseries) varieties, pointing out very narrow base olive material need broaden avoid risk erosion country.
