摘要: Although substantial advances have been achieved in last twenty years, practice we are still far from taking full advantage of the potential knowledge-based systems (KBS). Very few KBS survived their evaluation period and only one third those that were initially reported as successful use. The primary purpose paper is to report on three applications developed for research purposes field civil engineering. main challenge underlying all projects has develop computer support would induce changes improvements way engineers solve everyday problems. A great deal effort put into eliciting knowledge reasoning strategies engineering experts with aim building up a model expertise order assist decision-making processes. closes by highlighting principal achievements issues concerning future development solving real life
