摘要: Avian Infectious bronchitis virus (IBV) is a coronavirus that infects chickens via the respiratory epithelium as primary target cells. The binding of coronaviruses to cell surface mediated by viral protein S. Recently we demonstrated alpha2,3-linked sialic acid serves receptor determinant for IBV on Vero cells and chicken embryo kidney Here analyze importance activity infection tracheal organ cultures (TOCs) different strains. Our results show also TOCs. Infection TOCs in ciliostasis. Desialylation induced neuraminidase treatment prior delayed ciliostatic effect or resulted partial loss ciliary activity. This was observed with both nephropathogenic Inhibition ciliostasis when were pretreated an alpha2,3-specific neuraminidase. Analysis reactivity lectins revealed susceptible abundantly express acid. These indicate plays important role IBV.
