Protein evaluation of four oat (Avena sativa L.) cultivars adapted for cultivation in the south of Brazil.

摘要: Four oat cultivars adapted for soil and climate conditions in the southern region of Brazil were evaluated protein nutritive value. Evaluations done both vitro vivo. In evaluation was by essential amino acid profile, available lysine, scoring, digestibility corrected acid-scoring (PDCAAS). Nitrogen balance indices PER determined vivo with rats. all four (UFP-15, UFP-16, CTC-03, UFRGS-14), lysine most limiting acid. Available score PDCAAS highest cultivar UFRGS-14 lowest CTC-03. When compared to casein, only nitrogen retention did not differ statistically (p>0.05); other quality inferior casein cultivars. The tended be identical among themselves, except apparent which significantly higher CTC-03 On average, values 82% casein; net utilization 88% as 49% estimation
