摘要: Intentional undertreatment with insulin was found to be a common method of inducing weight loss or preventing gain in female adolescents insulin-dependent diabetes mellitus (IDDM) and eating disorders. More than half those disorders intentionally omitted produce hyperglycemia loss. Individuals were also less compliant other aspects IDDM management had poorer metabolic control the rest sample. It is suggested here that intentional some individuals may regarded as an equivalent purging, similar purpose consequences.
