摘要: Many behavioural studies rely on playback experiments. While it is known that songbirds decrease responses after short-term repeated stimulation, long-term changes due to playbacks are unknown. We studied the response in a free-living songbird long-term, while also studying repeatability of behaviour. Locomotor behaviour (a proxy aggressiveness) decreased one year first exposure single playback. Song response, however, remained consistent, suggesting these two behaviours may provide different information. was less repeatable than song playback, latter showing significant between-years repeatability. To best our knowledge, study report songbird, and some aspects repeatable. Similar other species or populations great tit important, examine generality findings.
