摘要: Context: Knee injuries which are the most common disabling in both athletic and physically active people, can be expected to occur with all sporting activities especi ally contact sports. Therefore, knee braces taping techniques widely used reduce and/or prevent severity incidence of Objective: To determine application, brace, kinesiotaping (KT) or both, is more effective regarding muscular strength functional performance. Design: A prospective, criterion-based controlled study. Setting: University research laboratory. Patients other participants: Twenty (11 F, 9M) healthy subjects no previous history lower extremity using brace KT were included this Main Outcome measures : Muscular strength, jump performance tested applications. Repeated ANOVA was performed if there differences between braced, taped conditions. Participants filled a questionnaire regardi ng demographic problems. Results: Kinesiotape application brought about significant incre ase hop distance (p = 0.015, P 0.018) dominant non-dominant isokinetic extension peak torque 0.034) at 180 /s. Conclusion: terms than plus brace. Physical therapists trainers may apply patient during after treatment rehabilitation support musculature, encourage tissue healing process, avoid limiting enhancement improved muscle
