Effects of nitrogen dioxide on surface plasmon resonance of substituted phthalocyanine films

摘要: Abstract Surface plasmon resonance (SPR) of spun films crown-ether-substituted phthalocyanines and octa-3,7,11-trimethyldodecyloxy phthalocyanine [H 2 pc(12,3)] shows changes on exposure the to nitrogen dioxide. The response reversal rates these effects parallel those semiconductivity shown by same materials. SPR is provide additional information interaction between gas as in both position depth are measurable. For 15-crown-5 metal-free phthalocyanine, larger more readily reversible 50% relative humidity than dry conditions, measurable even NO concentrations low 1 ppm. A simple convergent-beam configuration suggested for a practical sensor using principles.
