摘要: The eukaryotic lineage-specific LIM protein (LIN11, ISL1, and MEC3) family play pivotal role in modulation of actin dynamics transcriptional regulation. systematic investigation this has not been carried detail rare legumes. Current study involves the mining Cicer arietinum genome for genes coding domain proteins displayed significant homology with other species. analysis led to identification 15 members, which were positioned on chickpea chromosomes. phylogenetic motif suggested their categorization into two sub-families i.e., Ca-2LIMs Ca-DA1/DAR, comprised nine six candidates, respectively. Further sub-categories recognised as αLIM, βLIM, δLIM γLIM. within conserved genomic organization. expression pattern across developmental reproductive tissues demonstrated strong correlation established consensus. Ca-2LIM belongs PLIM GLIM (XLIM) was found highly expressed floral tissue. Others showed ubiquitous dominance stem. Under hormonal pathogenic conditions these LIMs up-regulate during salicylic acid, abscisic acid Ascochyta rabiei treatment or infection; down-regulated response jasmonic treatment. findings work, particularly terms under biotic stress will open up way further explore establish plant defense response.
