摘要: LIM-domain proteins play important roles in cellular processes eukaryotes. In this study, a LIM protein gene, GhWLIM5, was identified cotton. Quantitative RT-PCR analysis showed that GhWLIM5 expressed widely different cotton tissues and had peak expression during fiber elongation. GFP fluorescence assay revealed cells expressing GhWLIM5:eGFP fusion gene displayed network distribution of eGFP fluorescence, suggesting is mainly localized to the cell cytoskeleton. When transformed were stained with rhodamine-phalloidin there consistent overlap rhodamine-palloidin signals, demonstrating colocalized F-actin addition, high-speed cosedimentation verified directly bound actin filaments, while low microscopic observation indicated bundled vitro. Increasing amounts able protect from depolymerization vitro presence Lat B (an depolymerizer). Our results contribute better understanding biochemical role modulating dynamic
