摘要: Typical Near East mitochondrial haplotypes of the T2 lineage were found in one cattlemetacarpus sample from Roman period and two present-day Evole`ne cattle inSwitzerland. Sequences eight additional four Raetian Grey aligned to theEuropean haplotype T3. Analysis nucleotide diversity within D-loop ofboth studied Swiss breeds revealed high similar aEuropean reference group. Mitochondrial T3 radiated star-like twosimilarly frequent haplotypes, possibly indicating different expansion routes. The breedstructure can be explained either by an introduction diverse femalelineages domestication centre or later admixture. NearEast Switzerland must have happened during time earlier.
