摘要: IEEE 802.11 based Wireless Local Area Networks (WLANs) have emerged as a popular candidate that offers Internet services for wireless users. The demand of data traffic is increasing every day due to the increase in use multimedia applications, such digital audio, video, and online gaming. With inclusion Physical Layer (PHY) technologies, OFDM MIMO, current 802.11ac WLANs are claiming Gigabit speeds. Hence, existing Medium Access Control (MAC) must be suitable position convert offered PHY rates efficient throughput. Further, integration cellular networks with requires unique changes at MAC layer. It highly required preserve Quality Service (QoS) these scenarios. Fundamentally, many QoS issues arise from problem effective Radio Resource Management (RRM). Although has lifted layer aspects, there necessity investigate issues, resource utilization, scheduling, admission control congestion control. In this survey, literature overview techniques, namely allocation scheduling algorithms briefly discussed connection some anticipated enhancements proposed Multi-User Multiple-Input Multiple-Output (MU-MIMO) discussed.
