摘要: Abstract Tumor cells inoculated intradermally or s.c. into more cranial regions of the lateral trunk show strikingly greater tumor growth and development than do similar injected caudally. At low cell doses incidence anteriorly may be double that found posteriorly tumors become detectable rapidly anteriorly; at higher anterior:posterior ratio weight 4:1. The effect appears to independent type used (mastocytoma, sarcoma, teratoma, lymphoma, adenocarcinoma) strain mouse host; it does not appear influenced by sex host animal, immunogenicity tumor, immunological competence recipient. results are discussed both in terms practical considerations for developing adequate transplantation treatment protocols biological significance relation spontaneous induced oncogenesis.
