摘要: In the present paper, a comparison is made between Coupled Local Minimizers (CLM) method and Differential Evolution (DE) algorithm to perform FE model updating for damage detection in cracked beam. CLM gradient-based with multiple local optimization runs. DE direct search approach which uses population of solution vectors collecting design parameters. Two benchmark examples assessment are considered, i.e., beams under flexural vibrations one crack two cracks, unknown position depth. The effectiveness methods obtain set parameters has been verified by performing number processes starting from initial values selected randomly. Both exact pseudo-experimental input data used. A statistical analysis results presented. give much better than classical gradient method. Better performances term speed rate precision have obtained when identified limited. On other hand, shows good efficiency increases or case data.
