摘要: This paper suggests that in order to solve the problem of poor writing college must be redefined. The main issues newly de fined are: 1. impasse between different factions univer sity concerning nature good writing, who should teach it, and proper function language; 2. available talent for teaching university structure within which it is taught; 3. coming crises ability business cope with information explosion. Sug gested as a first move redefining better communication among all those involved language, science; only then can strategies reversing decline language mastery devised implemented.
