摘要: The amyloid proteins isolated from neuritic plaques and the cerebrovasculature of Alzheimer's disease are self-aggregating moieties termed A4 protein1 βprotein2,3, respectively. A putative precursor (herein A4695) has been characterized by analysis a human brain complementary DNA4. We report here sequence closely related cDNA, A4751,distinguished A4695 presence 168 base-pair (bp) which adds 57 amino acids to, removes one residue from, predicted 695protein. peptide this insert is very similar to Kunitz family serine proteinase inhibitors. two A4-specific messenger RNAs differentially expressed: in limited survey, A4751 mRNA appears be ubiquitous, whereas restricted pattern expression includes cells neuronal tissue. These data may have significant implications for understanding deposition disease.
