摘要: Abstract Magnetic separation is used widely in the mineral processing industry to concentrate and recover valuable minerals. Superconducting discs offer opportunity produce stronger magnetic forces than are available from conventional permanent magnets. Permanent magnets have been provide fields field gradients for drum separators which hold magnetisable particles against surface of a rotating gravity such way that they spatially separated less ‘open gradient’ separated, by deflection with forces, falling stream mixed particles, ‘falling curtain’ technique or guiding them on belt moving over magnetized rotor. Calculations distribution within superconducting authors provided basis examination their use separation. A number configurations discussed relation separator performance.
