Colorectal Cancer Classification and Cell Heterogeneity: A Systems Oncology Approach

摘要: Colorectal cancer is a heterogeneous disease that manifests through diverse clinical scenarios. During many years, our knowledge about the variability of colorectal tumors was limited to histopathological analysis from which generic classifications associated with different expectations are derived. However, currently we beginning understand under intense pathological and these there underlies strong genetic biological heterogeneity. Thus, increasing available information inter-tumor intra-tumor heterogeneity, classical approach being displaced in favor novel molecular classifications. In present article, summarize most relevant proposals obtained using powerful high throughput techniques devices.
