摘要: Design science and natural are complementary research paradigms in the management disciplines. Fundamentally task of is to develop, articulate, achieve organizational goals purposes. addresses that by creating novel effective artifacts demonstrated improve managers’ capability change “existing situations into preferred ones” (Simon (1996), p. 130). Natural it developing theories provide deep, principled explanations phenomena, justified rigorous empirical evidence managers can use guide their actions. Designed have no special dispensation from laws nature; however, business organizations environments which they operate social constructions (Searle, J. R. (2006) Social ontology: some basic principles, Anthropological Theory 6 (1), pp. 12–29). They themselves designed human goals, purposes, intentions, influenced operating within context emergent intentional behavior. Furthermore, how or why an artifact works does not work may lag years behind application artifact. If academic make significant contributions practice must utilize results each paradigm other. There this integration beginning take place several disciplines including information systems science. This paper summarizes assesses emerging work.
