摘要: Abstract The methanation activity of unsupported and alumina supported nickel borides, prepared by sodium borohydride reduction, was determined during in situ exposure to 10 ppm H 2 S at 525 K 1.3 atm as a function time. Using recently developed deactivation model, rate constants estimates catalyst life were determined. results indicate that boride Raney catalysts are significantly more sulfur resistant, i.e. deactivate much slowly the presence S, compared catalysts. superior resistance boron aluminium promoted is explained (i) their intrinsically low (ii) large capacity for adsorption.
