The influence of total number of favourable working conditions and lifestyle on mental health in Japanese workers in a large company

摘要: Healthy Work and Lifestyle Scores were totalled, their influence on the prevalence of mental symptoms was investigated. A cross-sectional design employed in this study. Participants workers a telecommunications enterprise who had received annual health check-ups from 1995 to 1997 between 20 59 years age. self-administered questionnaire survey obtaining information about sex, age, past history disease, present illness, working conditions, lifestyle subjective conducted once year. Workers with disease or illness excluded analysis. In total, 66 004 questionnaires analysed Favourable lifestyles conditions enumerated; also It found that for every year, result ANCOVA suggested lower Scores, higher age-adjusted mean number perceived symptoms. The results multiple comparisons revealed significant deterioration groups whose 0–4-, 5- 6-point. This comprehensive score correlated Japanese workers. Copyright © 2003 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.
