摘要: Abstract The development of a multicellular organism is dynamic process. Starting from one or few cells, the becomes set cells with different types that form well-determined patterns. It rather surprising differentiation in cell and formation controlled patterns are compatible, because former gives morphogenetic diversification whereas latter implies recursive production ensemble, reducing individual differences. We studied this problem by taking simple model intracellular reaction dynamics chemical concentrations, cell–cell interactions, increase numbers. observed successive type diverse chemicals chaotic concentration to oscillatory fixed-point dynamics, leading diversity spatial pattern. further show that, starting an initial object consisting both differentiated type, possible. By relating vegetal pole animal pole, classic experimental results separation blastomeres sea urchin eggs coherently explained, while some predictions made for vitro morphogenesis embryonic stem cells.
