摘要: This work presents the solubility of nine different gases in 1-n-butyl-3-methylimidazolium hexafluorophosphate. The considered include carbon dioxide, ethylene, ethane, methane, argon, oxygen, monoxide, hydrogen, and nitrogen. We also report associated Henry's constants enthalpies entropies absorption. found dioxide to have highest strongest interactions with ionic liquid, followed by ethylene ethane. Argon oxygen had very low solubilities immeasurably weak interactions. Carbon nitrogen all below detection limit our apparatus. Our results suggest that mass transfer into liquids likely will be an important issue for reactions involving these gases. determined show good potential use as a gas-separation medium.
