摘要: A rapid direct method (Method I) for measuring gamma- and alpha-tocopherols in human milk was developed validated using reversed-phase high-performance liquid chromatography with ultraviolet/visible (UV-vis) detection. Human milk, an internal standard (alpha-tocopherol acetate) added, diluted hexane. The chromatographic system consisted of a short column (50 mm x 2.1mm I.D., 3 microm particle size) that allowed the separation less than 6 min. new compared other methods. Method II (saponification detection) determined 24% 22% alpha-tocopherols, respectively. III evaporative light scattering gave same values alpha-tocopherol content as II. However, amount sample used application higher Furthermore, I uses smaller amounts solvents, it is simpler faster Methods or III. Only small volume needed, which additional advantage biological assays.
