摘要: In this study, a new empirical equation for the transverse dispersion coefficient has been developed based on hydraulic and geometric parameters in natural streams using regression technique. First, total of 32 data sets 16 were collected. Among those sets, used deriving equation, other verifying equation. Then, through dimensional analysis, it was found that normalized is associated with several such as sinuosity, aspect ratio, friction term. The robust least square method applied to estimate coefficients. newly proposed proven be superior explaining characteristics more precisely compared existing equations.
