摘要: A stream-tube dispersion model used in an engineering study has been calibrated using on-site dye measurements. The feasibility of construction non-specialized data is demonstrated through detailed description the and its discretization. was to plan a field which measurements tracer diffusion from continuous source were supplemented by velocity depth observations. After preliminary calibration bed roughness reproduce observed velocities, transverse mixing coefficients adjusted obtain good reproduction nondimensional are so large as suggest that secondary currents play important role mixing, weakening generality pointing out need account for circulation explicitly.
