摘要: The spatial organization of eukaryotic genomes is thought to play an important role in regulating gene expression. recent advances experimental methods including chromatin capture techniques, as well the large amounts accumulated expression data allow studying relationship between genome and co-expression protein-coding genes. To analyse this genome-wide at a single resolution, we combined interchromosomal DNA contacts yeast measured by Duan et al. with comprehensive collection 1,496 datasets. We find significant enhancement among genes contact links. most prominent when two loci fall within 1,000 base pairs from observed contact. also demonstrate enrichment inter-chromosomal links functionally related genes, which suggests that non random nature serves facilitate coordinated transcription groups
