摘要: Abstract An apparatus has been designed to measure the permeability coefficients of packaging films odours at low odour concentration gradients. Use is illustrated by comparison between permeation behaviour coextruded and coated polypropylene films, using test odourants benzyl acetate, 2-methoxyphenol limonene. For decrease logarithmically with levels in parts per million range. The exhibit more complex behaviour; concentrations extremely long induction periods occur prior odourant detection, whilst higher barrier coatings become less effective approach those film.
