摘要: A large number of state-of-the-art issues livestock pests and diseases, their control, has been reviewed in the current volume Ecology Control Vector-borne diseases book series. The combined reviews demonstrate a clear difference between northern southern regions, where former are more subjected to pest control areas confronted with infectious vector-borne diseases. It appears that arthropod associated have received less attention than required, leading lack navel innovative strategies for prevention control. Yet, rapid expansion industry as result population growth global change call solutions essential economic sustainable production systems. One Health concept, by now well known human health, still needs be integrated into industry. This becomes urgent given recent emergence arthropod-borne invasion new territories. is concluded multidisciplinary approach tackle problem which should include genetic microbiological tools order prevent near-unity reliance on chemical pesticides vaccines.
