摘要: In this paper I position the increasing inequality inside and between education economic social systems within policy context of global neo-liberal Capitalism. Restructuring schooling has taken place internationally under pressure from local international capitalist organisations compliant governments. examine some effects policies. These have increased inequalities globally nationally, diminished democratic accountability stifled critical thought-by compressing repressing space in today. I critique theory suggest how marketisation deformed a number aspects education: its goals, motivations, methods, standards excellence freedom education. Capital ideology seek to neutralise destroy potential pockets resistance corporate expansion Capital, serving perpetuate interests at expense national working class. The intrusion into threatens undermine one important site for contestation. conclude by looking sites deformation society calling other cultural workers work towards equality.
