摘要: Summary Aeromonas spp. are ubiquitous bacteria widely distributed among aquatic environments that have the ability to form biofilms. This aptitude allows them persist in water distribution systems, contaminating drinking water, food processing surfaces and ultimately food. For this study, biofilm-forming of aeromonads was evaluated after 48-h incubation on stainless steel discs at both 4 20 °C. Subsequently, disinfectants based amphoteric surfactants chlorine compounds were regarding capacity eradicate preformed biofilm inhibit formation. Results obtained demonstrated all strains under analysis able room refrigeration temperatures. The chlorine-based disinfectant be efficient removing biofilm, but unsuccessful preventing formation, highlighting importance adequate cleaning disinfection procedures, with emphasis surfaces.
