摘要: Using laser‐induced fluorescence in a low‐pressure flame, relative predissociation rates have been determined as function of rotational level the v’=3 A 2Σ+ state OH molecule. A Boltzmann analysis an excitation scan (3,0) band yields apparent temperature 970 K 1670 showing that kpre increases rapidly with level. The F1 levels predissociate slightly faster than F2 for same N’, agreeing previous multichannel scattering predictions. results can be placed on absolute basis using recent linewidth measurements flow tube.
