Development of a sebum control cream from a local desert plant Capparis decidua

摘要: The aim of this study was to develop a stable cream from local desert plant capable producing Antisebum effects. Two creams (emulsions) were prepared, both which w/o type. One the formulation in 5% extract obtained plant Capparis decidua was added during preparation and other base or control not while ingredients same as that formulation. Thirteen healthy male volunteers selected their initial sebum readings cheeks noted with help Sebumeter. given asked apply on face daily two times, right side left side. taken every fifteen days for period three months. At end period, it found significantly decreased values On hand, an increase observed where applied, although significant statistically. results showed prepared plant C. decidua had ability produce effects human volunteers.   Key words: Antisebum, extract, Capparis decidua, Sebumeter, Sebum.
