摘要: This paper presents a hierarchical adaptive particle swarm optimization (APSO) for multi objective optimal power flow considering emissions coordinated with dynamic control of shunt FACTS devices. study introduces new variant PSO using mechanism search based adjustment parameters decomposed strategy to improve the performances original in terms solution quality and convergence characteristics. The proposed have been successfully adapted applied solving emissions, practical generators constraints (valve point effect). APSO algorithm optimizes simultaneously combined variables, active generations, voltage generators, tap transformer reactive SVC Controllers installed at specified buses minimize fuel cost, total loss profile while satisfying system security. approach examined 6 generating units IEEE 57-Bus all security constraints, 40 valve effects. Simulation results compared standard other recent methods confirm effectiveness this variant.
