摘要: A process is described for the formation of shaped hydrated calcium silicate products. The comprises reacting an aqueous slurry containing a source hydroxide, perlite as silica, and soluble salt in presence high pressure saturated steam, then adding cooling water followed by subsequent venting reactor vessel to ambient pressure. Reinforcing fibers may be added after which desired shapes are molded dried.
