摘要: Apparatus for treating acid gas-containing flue gases to remove therefrom. in accordance with the present invention include a device heating an admixture of calcium alkali and calcium-reactive silica and/or alumina above ambient temperatures period time so as facilitate formation gas-absorbing silicates or aluminates. These apparatus further chamber receiving activated absorbing components from heater wherein component is admixed gas allow absorption After gas, separates treated spent component. Examples disclosed herein demonstrate utility these achieving improved sulphur-absorbing capabilities. Additionally, disclosure provided which illustrates preferred configurations use connection coal-fired generating plants.
