摘要: The reactivity of hydroxyl radicals (HO ) towards three neonicotonoid insecticides, namely imidacloprid, thiacloprid and acetamiprid was investigated. These were generated by photolysis H(2)O(2) solutions. Flash experiments used to determine the rate constants 5.5 x 10(10) M(-1)s(-1), 6 7.5 for reactions HO with acetamiprid, thiacloprid, respectively. Continuous irradiation in absence presence allowed identification toxicity evaluation primary photo- oxidation products insecticides. In all cases, less toxic 6-chloronicotinic acid found be major product at higher degrees oxidation. results reported here indicate that half life insecticides due their reaction natural aquatic reservoirs may vary between 5 h 19 days, therefore radical-mediated a significant abiotic elimination route. However, insecticide under such conditions might not improve quality contaminated water, as degradation still show considerable Vibrio fischeri assays.
