摘要: Objectives: When used with dental implants advantages of the magnetic attachments include control load transmitted to implants, improvements in stability, support and retention for prosthesis, relative ease prostheses fabrication. Clinically, use sterilized components is required, this may be problematic as alloys are sensitive temperature. The purpose study was evaluate influence autoclave sterilization on maximum retentive forces characteristic curves recommended implants. Material methods: Eleven SmCo NeFeB implant were evaluated provided by respective manufacturers. Implant abutment corresponding denture magnet (n=5 pairs) tested before after standardized (10 min at 134°C). Each pair 10 times a calibrated universal testing machine using non-magnetic test device (s=40 mm, v=20 mm/min). Results recorded electronically statistically analyzed t-test ANOVA (Welch Brown-Forsythe test; P<0.05). Results: After all pairs produced lower (though insignificant) overall compared untreated pairs. mean (SD) ranged from 5.65 (0.33) 1.41 (0.07) N. force–displacement systems showed differences among single products. Conclusions: Autoclave caused non-significant reduction force 0.04–14.6% when unsterilized There between both initial breakaway curves. Within limitations an without significant change properties. Nevertheless abutments should caution reduce risk alterations
