摘要: Abstract This investigation uses in situ high-resolution transmission electron microscopy to quantify the atomic-level dynamic behavior of a diffuse interphase boundary between ordered and disordered phases an Au–Cu alloy at elevated temperature. It is found that both position thickness fluctuate with time side differs from side. Analysis shape shows it fluctuates by mechanism involving collective motion many atoms rather than single-atom jumps. These features are explained terms physical properties different boundary.
