摘要: Abstract Various computer methods have been developed for the optimal design of indeterminate structures, but it is not possible to guarantee that result any method will be a global optimum, rather than merely local optimum. By temporarily neglecting conditions elastic compatibility and formulating mathematical optimization problem based on equilibrium stress constraints, obtain an approximate which avoids optima. In cases examined, this close exact optimum obtained by enforcing therefore good starting point optimizing procedure.
