摘要: Rio de Janeiro is considered as the most important entry point for dengue viruses in Brazil. Using isoenzyme markers, we investigated genetic structure of mosquito vector Aedes aegypti sampled at three-month intervals 14 districts from December 2002 to 2003. We detected high levels differentiation (i.e. F(ST) values and significant P values), which tended persist throughout year. The species does not take advantage routes railways disperse. Genetic structuring was higher rainy season, suggesting low dispersion Ae. this time year when all epidemics have been reported city.
