Annealing effects on Galvanomagnetic Properties of Heavily Radiation-Damaged Graphite

摘要: An annealing study of radiation-damage in graphite has been made through the observation changes electrical resistivity, Hall coefficient and magnetoresistance at room liquid-nitrogen temperatures. The specimen examined is a pile-grade polycrystalline bombarded with fast neutrons 30°C to total dose 5.8×1020 nvt. isothermal performed stepwise manner temperatures from 200°C up 2400°C. recovery diagrams are characterized by presence two major stages lying on temperature axis; relatively small one around 300°C bigger 1300°C. Based parabolic two-band representation for electronic structure, thorough analyses whole data, which lead coherent description process terms following parameters; density mobility conduction carriers, overlap upper lower bands location Fermi level. Discussions also given relation defect structure.
