摘要: Recently, studies have appeared pointing out that aerosols can dominate the total amine emission from based PCCC pilot plant scale installations. For design of countermeasure types (upstream or downstream installation), it is crucial to an idea aerosol size distribution and numbers entering leaving absorber. This study first present this kind data should serve future installations when designing countermeasures. H2SO4 absorber are observed be extremely small (i.e. <0.2μm) with number concentrations exceeding 1E8cm-3. The grow in as they travel through taking up water sizes close but staying below 1μm. However, despite fact most (expressed concentrations) well 1μm, (and thus amine) found between 0.5 2μm. Therefore, if one aims at efficient countermeasures, eliminating fraction crucial. stream therefore very difficult remove using washes known wash sections. Moreover, also classical demisters show little efficiency for these believed not suitable removal aerosols. information will © 2014 Elsevier Ltd.
