摘要: This study is to our knowledge the first describe effect of a Gas-Gas Heater (GGH) coal fired power plant's has on (i) H2SO4 concentration and (ii) particle/aerosol number particle size distribution present in flue gas. In absence GGH, homogenous nucleation takes places inside Wet Flue Gas Desulphurisation (WFGD) converting gaseous into aerosol H2SO4. leads high behind WFGD with 80% aerosols being smaller than 0.02 μm. implies that an amine based carbon capture (CC) installation treating this gas can suffer from mist formation due amount available nuclei (i.e., aerosols) resulting emissions. contrast, presence GGH not only 70% removed (measured at Nijmegen powerplant), but also prevented low concentrations. The leaving will create any issues CC It reduction by as such prevents its form. These results are most likely quite widely transformable other plants burn sulfur i.e., around 0.7 weight%. information serve future pilot demo world; particular when retrofitted have GGH.
